Purpose of the role
The Account Executive is responsible for managing a portfolio of customers in the Benelux by telephone. The Account Executive will be maintaining customer engagement, expectations and increase sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and identify business opportunities and act accordingly
- Responsible for (up) selling Card Not Present and Card Present products / services
- Campaign management to existing customer base
- Responsible for pipeline management
- Participate in the beginning of the implementation process and continually stay involved as needed to ensure the prospects complete implementation (live and trading)
- Responsible for the effective management of his / her portfolio
- Accurate in administration and reporting of all activities
- Maintaining and managing long-lasting relationships with decision makers
- Responsible for managing the effective hand-over of the account(s) from New Business
- Design sales- and retention tactics and drive execution
- Active participation in the team both professionally as socially

Required Experience
Minimum Bachelor degree
Minimum 3 years successful (Tele)sales experience in a professional environment
Proven track record in achieving in a B2B service-based industry
A profound understanding of the business of Credit card Acquiring (CNP & CP) and the commercial needs of this business
In-depth understanding of Online payment industry and Payment Service Providers
Required knowledge/ technical skills
Fluency and excellent writing skills in Dutch and English.
Additional languages are preferred.
Advanced computer literacy (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
